A rare and beautiful 3-piece salmon fly rod built in 2020, we made this rod to the highest standard possible on the superb Harrison Lohric carbon fibre blank.
This rod has unparalleled build quality and performance at a very reasonable price compared to off the peg alternatives.
*This rod comes with its Barder Rod Co aluminium travel case and TWO Hardy fly reels -a mint Marquis Salmon № 2 and a lightly used St John MK II, both with their padded cases, boxes and paperwork. Both reels are from the late 1980s-early-1990s which was an exceptionally good period.
The rod is perfectly matched with Rio Scandi #8/9 & #9/10 lines, depending on the size of river being fished and most importantly the size of fly- single flies up to size 6 on the #8/9 and tube flies on the #9/10.

13′ 3-piece built on the superb Harrison of Liverpool Lohric low resin, high modulus blank, which is crisp and very lightweight.
22″ Flor grade cork handle with a maximum diameter of .925″. The lower part of the handle, including the rubber button, is 5⅜” long.
The tapered butt cap and the tapered shoulder collar at the top of the handle are nickel sliver.
The down-locking nickel silver reel fitting has an impregnated spacer of highly figured burr Maple.
The butt ring is Agate lined nickel silver. The rings are black nickel coated stainless steel Snake Brand Spey guides with a matching tip ring. There is a fold down hook keeper above the handle.
The whippings are varnish impregnated translucent Burgundy silk.
The joints have hand turned Olive wood and cork stoppers.
The rod comes in its tailor made bag.
