Good afternoon Constable.

Good afternoon to you Vicar. Nice Kingfisher you’ve got there. Constable of Bromley? Lovely chap. Used to race greyhounds. Once told me he like fish fried in Lamb’s fat. Not against the law, but still. By the way, is it a seven footer for a #4 line? I thought so. Lovely little wand.

Here’s another view of the seven foot Kingfisher. I knew Cliff Constable and shortly before he died, I acquired his machinery and stock. 1991 that was. Makes me feel old. He really did race greyhounds. I’m sure that Heston Blumenthal, the famous chef, would approve of his liking for fish cooked in lamb’s fat. Sounds faintly revolting to me.
Last week, water droplets fell from the sky. Now, our lovely beige landscape is covered with strange green growths. Apparently, they’re called plants.
Best wishes, Edward Barder & Colin Whitehouse
