Chris Lythe is the undisputed master of individually precision made Aerial style reels. His attention to detail and thoughtful, refined workmanship is phenomenal. The accompanying pictures illustrate the class and quality of his work. For a change, I don’t have to ramble on too much about this reel. It speaks for itself.
The format of this reel backs up its name. At a little over four inches in diameter, it provides the perfect combination of easy Wallis casting, light spool weight (it’s double ventilated) and efficient line retrieval.
This is an especially fine example of this supremely practical model.
The Float Master is double ventilated- 12 large holes & 12 smaller holes to both front and rear spool flanges.

Button operated ratchet.
Phosphor bronze spool bush.
Tool steel spindle.
Faux ivory reverse tapered handles.
Pewter coloured anodized finish.
Lin pins, handle axles and spokes are nickel sliver.
