This is a superb example of our most popular fly rod, a position it shares with its #5-weight sibling. It has the merest hint of light use -the bronzing of the guides is very slightly silvered in places. That aside, the rod is in near mint condition.
Light and well balanced, this is a very lovely rod for closed to medium range dry fly and nymph fishing. I use mine with a Scientific Anglers Mastery Double Taper line and I don’t find it wanting in any way. Available now at a very attractive price, you could use it now for some winter grayling.
