Designed for single handed use for salmon, sea trout and steelhead, the Salmon De-Luxe is a hollow-built split cane fly rod with a very smooth, contemporary action.
This example has been very lightly used. Indeed, it shows little signs of use and is in super original condition.
The overall quality is as you would expect from Hardy. The rod comes with its detachable 4″ butt extension, ferrule stoppers and tailor made bag with zip and press stud fastenings.
Serial number impressed into the aluminium up-locking screw reel fitting: H56451 (1963).
This is a sought after and scarce rod that has a loyal following among users of lightweight cane salmon fly rods.
