Blub -Florentine street artist and snorkeling fan.
The thing is, Johannes Vermeer was a genius, clearly, but he did his best work three and a half centuries ago. We’ve got to look ahead, with the likes of Blub, and you’ve got to travel with me, into the strange world of fibreglass, carbon fibre, carrot extract and who knows, fly fishing for mud skippers if we carry on like this.
Carpcrawling again were you Sir?
Lately I’ve tempted you, successfully I might add, with some new and exciting fishing rods. Today though, we’re sticking with the classics. Like this Carpcrawler.
Signed by Chris Yates in 1998, this was the last one we made as a catalogued model.
This is a lovely rod. You can fish for carp with it, or pike, sea trout, moorland salmon, bass. To find out more, please click here.
The nicest split cane brook rod we’ve ever made?
Of course, the one we made for you is just as good, but if you’ve somehow neglected to obtain this model from us, do please take a look at it here to see what all the fuss is about.
Hey Eddie, you and Colin make some of the finest fishing rods available to humanity, so why are the pictures of them so unutterably dreadful?
This is my camera.
Until next time, take care of yourselves and each other (hang on, isn’t that Jerry Springer?) and good luck when you go fishing,
