Bomba!

Now that we’ve got this far and I’ve lost/mislaid readers with a five second attention span or no interest whatsoever in the clobber I have to offer, it’s time for a what I did on holiday story. Went to Italy again. Visited all the great Italian lakes except Garda. On the shores of Iseo, we ate perch, fresh water whitebait, smoked lake char, marinated carp, air dried shad and poached trout. Delicious. On the Isola dei Pescatori in Lake Maggiore we lunched on perch fillets in breadcrumbs. Yummy yummy yummy I’ve got perch in my tummy. Sauce tartar, glass of white wine. Sunshine. Happy.

If you need something to cheer up a piece of bland fish -cod or fresh water bream perhaps- get a jar of Bomba Calabrese. It’s Condiment Of The Month in the October edition of Condiment magazine.
