Richard Walker MK IV, a good read & The Other Mr Whitehouse.

How about a nice new MK IV carp rod for the coming season?

A young angler with his catch from the Dee.

Here is again, a little older perhaps, but clearly wiser.

He’s Mr P Whitehouse of London. Not THE Mr Whitehouse who is, as I write this, standing just over two meters from me, but another one who likes to fish too. I’m told he does a lovely turn.
He’s contributed to an angling anthology I’d like to bring your attention to: Lifelines – an anthology of angling stories which you can find out about here.

The proceeds from the sale of this book will benefit the Royal Marsden Cancer Hospital General Fund and the John Wilson Fishing Enterprise for disadvantaged children.

Contributors include Chris Yates, Luke Jennings, Charles Rangeley-Wilson, Martin Salter, Clem Booth and Hugh Miles. I urge you to support this excellent endeavour and enjoy a good read while you’re at it.

Until next week, look after yourselves and best of luck when you go fishing,

Edward Barder & Colin Whitehouse
